Børnene i huset

I am honored to share a testimonial of our stay at Tryfondens Familiehus in Aarhus Denmark while our son underwent cancer treatment.
We were amazed by the hospitality and care provided not only to our child but also to the parents and siblings. The family home exceeded our expectations with an excellent 2-room apartment (it fit in all 5 of us at the time when our older kids where at family house as well), fully equipped kitchen and amazing opportunities for children to spend time in superbly equipped playing rooms, an interactive room, ping pong table, PlayStations, cargo bikes, an outdoor playing ground etc.
It was amazing to see how children could forget about their disease, smile, and spend time with other children with the same disease or their siblings. Parents could even take some time off at the small gym and massage room.
The staff at the family house went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable and diverse as possible. They even organized a hairdresser, crafting opportunities, visits from the Aarhus football team, a magician, meals, and several other surprises. One of the highlights of their stay was the visit to the AGF Aarhus football game where our children brought the game ball as a part of the #Fodboldtrøjefredag campaign. It was mentioned on local television that our brave son came from Estonia to Denmark for treatment.
We felt welcome from the first moment they stepped into the family house, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation we had.
The amazing hospitality and care provided by the staff, along with the wonderful facilities and activities for the children, made a significant difference in our journey to Denmark through our son’s cancer treatment. We will always cherish the memories of our stay at the family house in Aarhus.

TAK FOR JER 🙂
Tusind tak for denne gang 🙂
